Spring finds Paul Metsa bringing his one-man show to the North Shore and beyond. Thursday, May 2nd you will find him at the very hip redstar lounge in Duluth sharing tales from the storied Blue Guitar Highway and promoting the book’s companion CD. On Friday, May 3rd Metsa hits the highway and heads to his hometown of Virginia, Minnesota to celebrate the release of the retrospective CD Blues, Ballads & Broadsides. This night of music and musings will take place at the Lyric Center for the Arts Loft.

On May 11th, Paul and musical partner-in-crime, soul legend Willie Walker will kick-off opening day at the North Folk Winery in Harris, Minnesota as part of the vineyard’s 2013 Folk Music Series. Paul & Willie will be a part of KFAI’s House Party on Wednesday, May 22nd. Tune-in to KFAI and hear them live on the air around 5 pm and then head Northeast to the 331 where they will appear in person from 7 until 9. You can also catch this dynamic duo most Thursdays for Happy Hour at Shaw’s in NE Minneapolis and Sundays for the Jazz & Blues Brunch at Kozlak’s Royal Oak Restaurant in Shoreview.
